News & information
Through our websites serving the United States and Mexico we provide consumer news, resources and information. Our content is free of charge, does not contain advertisements and is completely non-partisan. We represent consumers. No one else.
CECNA’s Certified Expert program trains consumer advisors, customer service representatives (CSR) and others who routinely come into contact with consumers who are seeking information about products and services.
CECNA also produces training programs in more general areas, including Truth in Lending, advertising regulation, warranties, product safety and federal and state consumer protection laws.
Additionally, CECNA publishes educational material including websites, email newsletters, webinars and videos for its member companies and for consumers.
CECNA is governed by a Board of Directors elected to three-year terms.
CECNA is funded through corporate memberships, through fees charged for its training and certification programs, newsletter subscriptions and through donations. Corporate members and sponsors are eligible to participate in training and certification programs and are CECNA’s partners in working towards corporate social responsibility and compliance with relevant legal and regulatory standards.
